About the Senior Product Designer Role
We’re looking for a creative, innovative, and customer-obsessed Senior Product Designer to join Float In this role, you’ll be responsible for building a seamless Corporate Spending experience, and creating and capturing value by accelerating the adoption and usage of our existing products.
As the Senior Product Designer at Float you’ll…

Work closely with our Product Management, Engineering, Operations, Marketing, and Sales teams to take products from broad concepts through implementation and launch.
Own the look, feel, and experience of our user-facing application, design flows, and experiences, ensuring they’re simple and elegant.
Develop and deliver mock-ups, prototypes, and detailed specifications to communicate design and interaction.
We’re looking for 7+ years of Product Design experience, preferably in B2B SaaS, early to mid-stage startup environments. You understand modern, front-end engineering tools and practices, and how they work together to deliver a great experience.
You’re scrappy and enjoy finding creative ways to work through obstacles. You leverage quantitative and qualitative data to analyze your work and consistently improve products.
You're all about building relationships, understanding customer needs, and advocating for them passionately. You translate business requirements into technical specifications, overseeing the development process, and ensuring successful deployment. You're not driven by the vision of building Canada's top business finance platform.
You work best when a manager is always providing the next project.
You prefer predictable routines over the dynamic, independent nature of startup culture.
You’re uncomfortable working independently, remotely, or asynchronously.
You aren’t comfortable taking calculated risks.
