Job Description Summary

The Country Manager, Canada- is responsible for sourcing, screening, evaluating all Healthcare Professionals (HCP) resumes located in varied locations coinciding with social media campaigns, direct referrals, and job fairs. Finding HCPs with interest in the opportunity to moving to the US and gaining a green card as a skilled worker. Timely and diligent screening of education qualifications to ensure experience and quality of the candidate matches the VSHC and employer requirements. Presenting the VSHC program on a high level and conducting "dig deep" interviews. Working closely with the Director of International Healthcare Recruitment to ensure focused recruitment efforts within your country.

Responsibilities:

  • Building name recognition of VSHC and program.
  • Locating interested HCPs that want to come to the US.
  • Sourcing from all areas of social media, networking or direct referrals, job fairs or trade shows.
  • Evaluating education to match client and immigration requirements.
  • Focus on Specialties that are amongst our open job orders.
  • Confirm clients required work experience within the healthcare specialty they currently perform in.
  • Research and confirm current licenses are in good standing and in the country, they reside/work in.
  • Provide program details for direct placement to clients throughout the US with strict confidentiality.
  • Enter each HCP and all coinciding interactions via CRM (HubSpot) to ensure full transparency and accurate history.
  • Expedite submitting candidates through CRM to expedite recruits to the internal interview process. 
  • Provide constant updates of successes and challenges to the Director of Recruitment.
  • Working with assigned agency partners to manage, train, and hold accountable to perimeters within agreements.
  • When necessary, work to locate and negotiate new agency partnerships. (*in some regions)
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • MUST LIVE IN CANADA, WITHIN GREATER TORONTO AREA BEING A PLUS
  • BA/BS preferred. 
  • Two-plus years of prior experience in healthcare candidate recruitment or a related area.
  • Utilize strong interpersonal communication skills to effectively and professionally communicate with external and internal constituents.
  • Outstanding business knowledge and customer service skills.
  • Self-starting leader who can meet deadlines in a fast-paced, team-driven environment. 
  • Organized with attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Abide by VSH policies and Code of Conduct and all applicable laws and regulations. 
  • A background check and references may be required prior to employment.
