Product Specialist - Automation
Location: Central Canada (Flexible)

Currently, we have an opening for a Product Specialist - Automation based in Central Canada . The Product Specialist is responsible for providing quality technical support and for developing the technical competencies of the customer and internal personnel. The role is product focused and concentrates on providing guidance and advice on the implementation and strategies for the product range.
Develops and organizes product training for sales and service personnel for the respective products.
Provides technical training to the service network and customer base on proper operation, maintenance and troubleshooting practices.
Provides technical support to end users, operators, and service personnel.
Provides assistance in compiling accurate data to process warranty claims and engineering machine improvements.
Monitor test results for new products to implement improvement of the product.
Assists factories with field-testing and trials of new products and updated components to ensure proper and safe operation.
Works with our customer to develop comprehensive system project plans, project schedules and commissioning activities.
Performs equipment installations, project commissioning and product demonstrations in a safe and proactive manner.
Develop customer relationships to ensure customers have a positive experience and remain loyal to the Sandvik brand.
Proactively ensures community involvement within the area of responsibility.
Two-year Technical Degree in an electrical discipline or equivalent experience.
~ Training in key aspects of technical trades.
~7 years’ Technical experience.
~ Bilingualism is an asset (French & English) oral, written.
~ Project management experience.
~ Flexible, self-motivated and drive to achieve customer satisfaction goals and targets.
~ Computer literacy.
~ Flexible, self-motivated with demonstrated initiative.
~ Valid driver’s license.

Fournir une assistance technique aux usagers directs, aux opérateurs et au personnel de service.
Fournir une rétroaction aux usines en vue d'apporter des améliorations à l'équipement ou à son fonctionnement.
Participer à la compilation de données spécifiques pour le processus de réclamation de garantie et pour les améliorations des machines.
Assister les usines dans les essais sur le terrain des nouveaux produits et des nouvelles composantes afin d'en assurer son fonctionnement adéquat et sécuritaire.
Collaborer avec nos clients afin d'élaborer des projets de systèmes complets, les calendriers des projets et les activités de mise en service.
Effectuer l'installation des équipements, la mise en service des projets et les démonstrations de produits en toute sécurité et de manière proactive.
Assister les clients dans l'interprétation des pièces détachées et des stocks recommandés.
Développer les relations avec les clients pour s'assurer qu'ils ont une expérience positive et qu'ils restent fidèles à la marque Sandvik.
Diplôme de deux ans dans une discipline du domaine de l'électricité ou expérience équivalente.
~7 ans d'expérience technique.
~ Le bilinguisme est un atout (français et anglais) à l'oral et à l'écrit.
~ Expérience en gestion de projet.
~ Flexible, motivé et faisant preuve d'initiative.
