Our client, a banking organization, is looking for a Functional Analyst
This position requires excellent interpersonal skills, open-mindedness, leadership, negotiation skills and a strong ability to work within a fast-growing and agile team.
You coordinate resources associated with projects throughout the development process and when necessary.
You assume a leadership role with the clientele and various stakeholders in the context of files and projects involving strategic and complex development and interventions of an innovative nature, such as the development of systems, programs and computer applications as well as the identification of corrective measures. The nature of the files requires extensive and in-depth knowledge in your field.
You will make recommendations for the development and implementation of files or projects of high operational and conceptual complexity. These require a global and detailed analysis and understanding of the business and the organization. You are called upon to interact with a large number of stakeholders working in various fields of expertise. You will act as an integrator, consultant and content expert in your field and act as a resource person and coach for various bodies.
Act as a leader for projects, mandates and development activities specific to your field of expertise and whose scope and impact are important for the company
– Analyze the client’s needs and assist them in defining their requirements, guiding them to the appropriate functional solutions while taking into account budgetary commitments and delivery deadlines
– Guide the development teams in their analysis and resolve functional problems that arise during the project so that the proposed solutions are coherent and take into account the needs of users and the system architecture as well as the constraints to be respected
– Ensure project alignment between the development teams and the project committee by guiding and coordinating the contribution of the consultants
– Identify opportunities for system optimization, monitor the evolution of computer systems and advise users on the computerization of operations, the development of management and analysis tools and the steering of systems
– Develop various strategies related to testing, training, implementation, etc.
Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline
– Experience in an Agile, Squads, Devops context
– Experience on large scale projects
– Knowledge of DevOps on Azure (an asset)
– Business analysis certification (an asset)
