Description:

Our Nurse Educators experience a unique opportunity to employ their clinical nursing expertise in a new way outside patient care, while continuing to collaborate with healthcare professionals and advocate for the well-being of patients through medical device technology. As a Nurse Educator, you will be responsible for training and educating Registered Nurses and Physicians on new PIV devices primarily in a hospital settings.

Responsibilities:

Primary focus will be in-servicing and education only; there are no sales responsibilities or bedside care responsibilities
Assess customer-specific education needs and collaborate with staff to deliver a positive educational experience
Utilizing clinical nursing expertise to answer questions and address concerns with the product
Provide updates, reports and valuable feedback to the client during and after in-serving assignments as required

Requirements:

Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse license required
At least 2-5 years’ experience with PIV insertion preferred
Leadership experience (manage, educator, preceptor) helpful but not required
Strong business acumen
Ability to work autonomously
Must be comfortable with basic software programs
Ability to travel locally regionally & nationally 1-2 times a month
Desire to expand personal talent in clinical education
Must be able to lift a minimum of 40lbs
Duties may require compliance with client requirements that all those performing services on- site to be fully vaccinated
