Job Description:

At Apex Aluminum Extrusions, we believe in the power of seamless operations to drive success. As a Maintenance Planner , you'll be at the forefront of ensuring our manufacturing facilities operate at peak efficiency. Your role will encompass crafting and executing maintenance schedules, orchestrating maintenance activities, and fine-tuning equipment performance to boost productivity. We're seeking individuals with a knack for organization, a deep understanding of manufacturing equipment, and a proactive mindset towards maintenance planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Craft and uphold maintenance schedules for all manufacturing equipment and facilities, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Collaborate closely with maintenance technicians and external partners to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
  • Spot opportunities for enhancing equipment reliability and performance through preventive maintenance programs.
  • Keep a vigilant eye on equipment performance, swiftly implementing corrective measures to prevent breakdowns and minimize downtime.
  • Maintain meticulous records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and spare parts inventory.
  • Work together with cross-functional teams to prioritize maintenance tasks, ensuring minimal disruption to production schedules.
  • Dive into continuous improvement initiatives, refining maintenance processes to bolster efficiency across the board.

Qualifications:

  • Preferably possess a bachelor’s degree in engineering, maintenance management, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in maintenance planning or a related role within the manufacturing sphere.
  • Profound technical knowledge of manufacturing equipment and systems is essential.
  • Proficiency in maintenance management software and the Microsoft Office suite is advantageous.
  • Stellar communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively prioritizing tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills coupled with unwavering attention to detail.
  • Bonus points for certification in maintenance planning or a related field (e.g., MMP).
