Notre client, un leader canadien de la construction, dans les secteurs du bâtiment, de l'exploitation minière et des grands travaux de génie civil, est à la recherche d'un(e) Planificateur pour un projet basé dans la région du Saguenay-Lac St Jean pour leur CENTRE D’EXPERTISE ET PROJETS MAJEURS

Le planificateur sénior soutient les projets dans l’élaboration, la mise à jour et le suivi des échéanciers. Il assure une communication efficace et évalue la faisabilité et les coûts associés aux délais des clients. Il participe à l’estimation des coûts indirects et le suivi des avancements sur le chantier pour les décomptes progressifs.

Sa maîtrise des logiciels de planification, combinée à une communication étroite avec les chargés de projet et une compréhension des activités du chantier lui permet d’optimiser les échéanciers.

Responsabilités

  • Coordonner les activités des autres membres de l’équipe;
  • Identifier le chemin critique;
  • Voir à l’établissement des échéanciers de projets;
  • Intégrer les informations requises au suivi détaillé des étapes de réalisation de projet;
  • Sur une base hebdomadaire ou à la demande, générer les rapports d’avancement et la production des indicateurs de performances;
  • Produire les courbes des mouvements de trésorerie;
  • Suivre la planification de base versus les activités réelles;
  • Assurer la diffusion de l’information (évolution des échéanciers, chemin critique, glissement dans le temps, analyse de données et impact sur la livraison);
  • Rédiger la section « planification » du rapport d’avancement mensuel du projet;
  • Assister aux réunions regardant l’aspect de planification;
  • Assister, au besoin, aux réunions de chantier;
  • Voir au respect de l’application des bonnes pratiques de gestion de projet.

EXIGENCES

  • BAC en génie civil ou de la construction ou toute autre combinaison d’expérience et de formation équivalente;
  • Minimum 7 ans d’expérience pertinente;
  • Membre de l’Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (atout);
  • Certification en planification (atout) (AACE-PSP)
  • Formation spécialisée en gestion de risques (atout);
  • Bonnes connaissances des séquences de construction, de l’analyse des risques quantitatifs du calendrier, de la maintenance du calendrier et de la gestion des changements, de la mesure et de l’évaluation des progrès, des tendances et des prévisions, et de l’établissement de rapports;
  • Connaissances informatiques: MS Project et Primavera P6;
  • Être bilingue français et anglais (atout).

SENIOR PLANNER

Our client, a Canadian construction leader in the building, mining and major civil engineering sectors, is looking for a Project Planner based in the Saguenay-Lac St Jean region for their EXPERTISE CENTER AND MAJOR PROJECTS.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Senior Planner supports projects in developing, updating, and monitoring schedules. He/she ensures effective communication and assesses the feasibility and costs associated with customer deadlines. He/she participates in estimating indirect costs and monitoring progress on site for progressive settlements.

His/her mastery of planning software, combined with close communication with project managers and an understanding of site activities, enables him to optimize schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the activities of other team members;
  • Identify critical path;
  • Establish project schedules;
  • Integrate information required for detailed tracking of project completion stages;
  • On a weekly basis or on request, generate progress reports and performance indicators;
  • Produce cash flow curves;
  • Monitor basic planning versus actual activities;
  • Ensure dissemination of information (schedule evolution, critical path, time slippage, data analysis and impact on delivery);
  • Write the "planning" section of the monthly project progress report;
  • Attend planning meetings;
  • Attend site meetings as required;
  • Ensure compliance with good project management practices.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in civil or construction engineering, or equivalent combination of experience and training;
  • Minimum 7 years' relevant experience;
  • Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (asset);
  • Planning certification (asset) (AACE-PSP)
  • Specialized training in risk management (asset);
  • Good knowledge of construction sequences, quantitative schedule risk analysis, schedule maintenance and change management, measurement and evaluation of progress, trends and forecasts, and reporting;
  • Computer skills: MS Project and Primavera P6;
  • Bilingualism in French and English (asset).
