Gain valuable experience by working in a student engineering position at the Calgary Office for one of our Thermal or Conventional Exploitation/Production groups. You will have the opportunity to participate in challenging projects that develop your expertise and prepare you for full-time employment. Term length: 4, 8, or 12 months
Term start: January, May, or September 2024
Job location: Calgary, AB – Head Office
Shift schedule: 5d2x/8 HR

Key Accountabilities:
Obtain baseline engineering experience and exposure in a wide variety of tasks while working with multidisciplinary teams in a fast paced environment
Participate in inactive/active well file reviews
Review completions, recompletions, well drilling, and historical information for understanding well performance
Perform optimization research for increased production
Provide technical support of data analysis and assistance for the preparation of various applications
Execute small projects related to production and exploitation
Research, recommend and evaluate completions/workovers to maximize the Company’s oil production
What You Bring to The Role:
Currently enrolled in your 2nd, 3rd, or 4thyear of an engineering degree program. Chemical, Mechanical, Energy, and Petroleum/Oil & Gas disciplines preferred.
Possess a valid Class 5 Alberta driver’s license or equivalent out of province license
Motivated, takes initiative, collaborative, resourceful, and able to manage multiple priorities
