As a Senior Methods Coordinator reporting tothe Methods & Temporary Works Manager, you will play a crucial role withinour APEX division. Your responsibilities include overseeing departmentalresources during project proposals and implementation. You’ll manageconstruction method development, contribute to temporary structure design,supervise model and plan production, and ensure compliance during installationat the construction site. In addition to this, you will also be tasked withproviding key technical support and insight during the proposal and estimatingphases for potential new projects. 


Work closely with Project Team and additional Methods & Temporary Works (M&TW) Coordinators to coordinate resources so that M&TW mandates during Proposal and Implementation Phases are effectively carried out.
Supervise and take accountability for the team’s work quality and the timely delivery of project deliverables.
During the Proposal Phase, oversee and guide the preparation of general methods and work sequences, equipment requirements, as well as the preliminary design of temporary structures.
During the Proposal Phase or at the beginning of the Implementation Phase, participate with the M&TW Manager in the definition of the main mandates that will be carried out directly by the M&TW team and those that will be subcontracted (if applicable), and define a production schedule for the deliverables.
Define, in collaboration with the construction team, the general methods that will be deployed on the construction site.
Coordinate and ensure the production of various documents, including work site layout plans, lifting plans, and other plans specific to the project.
Coordinate and ensure the production of work phasing plans and the temporary structures cycles.
Find the best options for achieving temporary structures, in line with the planning and general methods used, and anticipate problems that could arise at the work site.
Participate in the design and the specifications of temporary structures (special formworks, pile-driving jigs, platforms, temporary walkways and bridges, steel structures, cofferdams, shoring, temporary supports, etc.), Provide the construction team with technical support regarding the installation and compliance with methods.
Act as a relevant and credible technical resource for stakeholders.

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction engineering, or related third level qualification.
15+ years of relevant work experience in civil engineering, construction methods and temporary works.
Previous relevant experience within a major organization for large-scale and complex projects (transportation, buildings, etc.).
Highly proficient with AutoCAD, Revit (BIM) and other relevant software.
Accustomed to work with project management software like Aconex, ProjectWise, etc.
Possess excellent technical knowledge.
Be able to communicate technical issues in a way that is well-understood, using quality spoken and written language.
