What you'll do:

  • Manage accounting functions for a group of related companies, trusts, and foundations
  • Assist family members with financial obligations and various administrative tasks
  • Prepare and review monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Responsible for Monthly, Quarterly, Annual filings of HST, EHT, WSIB for the group of companies
  • Monitor cash flows across the group of companies
  • Handle property management responsibilities such as ensuring tenants are paying and coordinating with appropriate individuals if issues arise
  • Account for various types of investments including public stocks, private equities, land, real estate
  • Prepare year-end files for the corporate group of companies to pass along to external accountants
