We are recruiting for a Senior Architect System Designer to join our Subject Matter Expert team in the Security and Healthcare Technology division. Work remotely and on customer sites for the installation, design, assembly, servicing, troubleshooting and maintenance of various electronic systems, including but not limited to: Nurse Call, RTLS, Audio, Video, Paging, Intercom, Security/Access Control, Telecommunication and Video Surveillance
Act as a subject matter expert resource for PMs and mentor junior team members, to assist with technical difficulties or issues.
Inspect potential project sites and provide accurate estimation of required equipment and time
Maintain and complete accurate as-builts and all system documentation for projects.
Commission and configure hardware and software for deployment/installation.
Create and provide internal technical training resources and sessions for Houle team members.
Recognized training in more than one relevant security/healthcare system and products, including access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection
Minimum 5-7 years working in a similar role, with strong technical expertise in related systems. Electronics background also an asset.
Experience in large build projects including P3 Hospitals
Experience with integration and middleware engines in the security/healthcare product space
Knowledge of various programming and computer languages including C#, python and T-SQL is a strong asset
Knowledge of web-based technologies, protocols, and languages/mechanisms including API, REST, SOAP, ISS, Web servers, JSON, XML SQL is a strong asset
Knowledge of various networking protocols and technologies
