Job Description AECOM Burnaby is looking for a motivated and skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our Water Infrastructure department. You will be working with our team of senior engineers, EIT's, technologists, CAD designers and project managers who focus on delivering high quality and challenging structural design projects within the water and wastewater conveyance and treatment sector. You will also have the opportunity to work collaboratively with other disciplines such as civil engineers, electrical engineers, and mechanical engineers on larger projects. Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.
Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.
Provides guidance to entry level engineers.

Performance at this level requires developmental experience in a professional position.
Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering + 8 years’ experience in general structural design
Experience in water/wastewater treatment, pumping stations and water conveyance structures
10+ years of experience in water/wastewater treatment, pumping stations and water conveyance structures would be a definite asset.
~ Familiar with ACI 350 Code Requirements for Environmental Engineering Concrete Structures and Commentary
~ Demonstrate good understanding of Canadian and American codes and standards for concrete and steel structures design,
~ Skilled in structural design software, such as SAP 2000, Staad Pro, Etabs, and SAFE, and familiar with Revit.
