About Us Air-tek is a Canadian based software company focused on modernizing the airline industry and dealing with its most important and valuable issues.
Our diverse team is helping to automate the most critical operations processes within airlines to ensure that billions of passengers seamlessly arrive at their final destination.
Our software has been in production for over six years and is deployed at some of the largest and fastest growing airlines around the world, giving them some of the greatest increases in efficiencies and customer satisfaction they have seen in years. Through the pandemic airlines have faced increasing operational challenges driving even greater interest in our unique suite of products.
Although our global customers know us, we intentionally remain in stealth mode during this phase of our growth. But it’s no secret that our team shares a collective passion for solving complex problems, a drive to innovate, and a desire to create the passenger-centric travel industry.

Site Reliability Engineer will be responsible for maintaining the reliability, scalability, and security of our customers’ infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with various AWS technologies, Docker, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, Kafka, and must be familiar with monitoring using DataDog and automation/CI/CD using GitHub Actions. Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Pulumi and Typescript.
Automate infrastructure deployments and server provisioning using GitHub Actions.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Github Actions.
Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems using DataDog.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
~3+ years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineer or related role.
~ Strong experience with AWS including VPC configuration, ECS Fargate, EC2, Load Balancers, Storage, AWS Route 53, and VPN.
~ Familiarity with provisioning and operating databases and message brokers including MongoDb, Postgress, RabbitMQ, and Kafka.
~ Programming experience in JavaScript/Typescript or C#
~ Experience with GitHub and automation tools such as GitHub Actions.
~ Knowledge of Linux administration and shell scripting.
~ Familiarity with monitoring using DataDog.
~ Innovative and collaborative team environment with office hubs in Toronto and Montreal
