Your function


I am currently recruiting a Mechanical Engineer for one of my clients, a manufacturing company in the field of electrical transport located in Drummondville - Permanent position 40 hours per week.


Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be in charge of the following tasks:
- Ensure compliance and system quality during all phases of vehicle production and assembly
- Be the technical expert for product modifications in the production line, and for the related documentation
- Ensure proper product integration into the production line, according to methodologies and standards
- Resolve problems during all phases, and act as technical referent in the event of a problem
- Work with other departments to ensure the safety, quality and productivity of processes and products.


You will be an expert in the following subjects:


- Product development and integration, including design, production release, training and
deployment
- Continuous product and process improvement

- Priority management and rigor
- Innovative spirit and strong communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and team player

Your profile


-At least 3 years' experience in a similar position in a manufacturing environment
-Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant training
-OIQ member: CPI or Titre Ing
-Fluency in written and spoken French, English an asset
-Experience with CAD software (3D 2D)
-Knowledge of ERP
-Knowledge of manufacturing principles, metrology tools, lean manufacturing
-Proficiency in Office suite


- Salary: $80k - $110k depending on experience
Weekday position, permanent and face-to-face, full insurance and company RRSP.
