Apprentice Machinist

Setting up and operating machines for repetitive machining.
Verifying machined parts dimensions using precision instruments.
Performing equipment maintenance.
Entering codes for CNC machine tools.
Handling weights up to 45 kg (100 lbs).

Comprehensive training, education, and certification support. Qualifications: General Machinist (429A) Apprenticeship Program: A structured 4-year journey that includes:
7,280 hours of hands-on, on-the-job training.
720 hours of employer-facilitated in-school training.
Minimum Grade 12 high school education or equivalent.
Manufacturing experience is an advantage, but not a prerequisite.
Strong mathematical skills, manual dexterity, and attention to detail.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Unyielding winning attitude. Essential Requirements: Shift Work: Must be open to Day, Afternoon, and Midnight shifts, including overtime (excluding weekends/holidays). Shift premiums apply. Reliable transportation is necessary.
