Reporting directly to the President, Canada, the Head of Planning will play a pivotal role in orchestrating and managing Sales Planning, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and the S&OP process. This role demands strategic thinking, collaborative leadership, and a comprehensive understanding of planning operations within the cannabis industry.
Sales Planning: Lead the development of sales strategies and forecasts in close collaboration with the sales team, incorporating market insights, historical data, and consumer trends.
Performance Analysis: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate planning effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and drive operational excellence.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of industry regulations and market dynamics impacting planning activities, ensuring compliance and adaptation to changing requirements.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field; Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in sales planning, demand planning, supply chain management, and leading S&OP processes, preferably within a regulated industry.
Strong analytical abilities, proficiency in planning software, ERP systems, and data analysis tools.
Comprehensive understanding of the cannabis industry landscape, market dynamics, and regulatory considerations is highly advantageous.
This is a full-time position based remotely in Canada.
