Assume des responsabilités de haut niveau dans les domaines suivants : santé et sécurité du travail, évaluation des risques, CMSS, vérification, sécurité routière, matières dangereuses, Code canadien du travail, Partie II et SIMDUT. Dirige et guide ses subalternes et forme les directeurs et employés.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent. Degree in Health, Safety, Environment and /or Engineering related is preferred.
  • Accreditations/Certifications/Licenses (Preferred) - Professional accreditation (CRSP)
  • Minimum number of years required for entry to this job - 4 years of Safety experience focusing in the majority of these areas; Occupational Health and Safety, Workers Compensation, Dangerous Goods, Fire Prevention, Vehicle or Driving safety.
  • Building codes and fire codes is desirable - (Preferred)
  • Strong understanding of government legislation and the interpretation and application of constantly changing and evolving legislation to company health and safety programs/ policies.
  • Microsoft Office Suite - Basic
  • Standard Microsoft Power Point, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook
  • Required to occasionally work overtime
  • Required to work irregular working hours based on operational needs
  • Travel within geographic territory.
  • If this incumbent resides in the province of Quebec, you must be bilingual( French and English).

Le titulaire qui réside dans la province de Québec doit être bilingue (français et anglais). En plus des facteurs habituels faisant partie du processus de sélection, tout candidat à un poste exigeant la conduite d’un véhicule comme compétence de base doit posséder un permis de conduire valide (p. ex. de classe 5, G, ou 1 AZ) et un dossier de conduite affichant un maximum de deux infractions et / ou accidents au cours des 24 mois précédant la date de candidature. Les candidats feront en outre l’objet d’une évaluation basée sur l’examen approfondi : 1) de leur dossier de conduite courant, 2) des résultats de leur entrevue et 3) des résultats de toute évaluation de leurs compétences de conducteur.
