Responsibilities:

As a Database Administrator (DB2/Linux), you will play a crucial role in managing and administering DB2 databases on Linux servers. Your responsibilities include:

• Ensure database performance, availability, and security
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as backups, restores, and updates
• Troubleshoot database issues and resolve them promptly
• Monitor database health and optimize configurations for efficiency
• Implement and maintain database security measures
• Collaborate with other teams for cross-functional projects and issue resolution
• Document database configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to DB2 and Linux server administration

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

• Proficiency in database administration, particularly with DB2 on Linux servers
• Experience in database performance tuning and maintenance tasks
• Strong troubleshooting skills for database-related issues
• Knowledge of database security protocols and implementation
• Familiarity with monitoring tools for database health and optimization
• Effective collaboration skills for working within interdisciplinary teams
• Excellent documentation skills for configurations and procedures

The Role

This is a Perth based contracting role on an initial 12-month contract.

• Apply V-Model strategies that document and trace software testing to requirements in the context of distributed and real-time systems.
• Contribute to a culture focused on quality and continuous improvement.
• Utilise standards, workflows and best practices in Rail applications. (EN50128 or similar)
• Design and execute integration, test & verification plans.
• Develop and maintain continuous integration & continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

The Role

Requirements

• Proven experience in Front End User Interface Testing.
• Automated Front End Test Tools such as Open HMI Tester (OHT) is beneficial.
• Knowledge of user interface frameworks deployed on Unix-based systems in industrial applications, such as Qt, LVGL, Tcl/Tk or similar is beneficial.
• Frontend End Debugging, Automated Testing and traceability.
• Experience with V-Model development is highly advantageous.
• Experience with requirement management tools (i.e Siemens Polarion) is highly advantageous.
• Understanding of network communications and protocols.
• Understanding of the full software development life cycle (documentation, requirements, testing, deployment and traceability).
• Experience with software version control systems such as Git or SVN is essential.
• Experience with Functional Safety Rail SIL1/SIL2-rated software testing is advantageous (EN50128 or equivalent).
• Passion for identifying issues and attention to detail.
• Ability to apply creative thinking to solve problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Perth based with full working Australian rights.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree qualification in Electronic, Electrical or Software Engineering, or equivalent.

The Role

You will be a key member to the team and responsible for developing standards for data, designing database architecture, and managing big data of various databases.

This is a Perth based contracting role on an initial 12-month contract.

Responsibilities

• Design efficient database architecture and the best way to store large datasets.
• Create standard workflow and documentations for setting up data software and platform.
• Manage big data in various databases (i.e. AWS S3, Snowflake, SQL, InfluxDB) and ensure data are available to all consumers.
• Responsible for test data management and data offloading pipeline for all Green Fleet projects.
• Develop standards for data signal naming and set correct naming and grouping across the whole data pipeline from onboard data logger to offboard database.
• Manage data logging software and specialised test data logger.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in design and delivery of complex data warehousing and data management field.
• Experience with writing and optimising SQL queries is essential.
• Experience with MQTT protocol (Sparkplug B) is essential.
• Experience with AWS, Azure cloud platform and Snowflake cloud data platform is highly beneficial.
• Perth based with full working Australian rights.

The Role

You will be a key member to the team and responsible for the overall control systems software architecture.

This is a Perth based contracting role on an initial 12-month contract.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with and manage internal and external multidisciplinary engineering and manufacturing teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Apply a systems engineering approach, develop software requirements, functional flow block diagrams, use cases, and specifications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Coordinate and collaborate with multiple software development teams to achieve the architecture.
• Identify and resolve difficult technical issues.
• Communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

• Proven experience in software for embedded control systems
• Experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers and peripherals is essential.
• Experience with product development or systems engineering in Rail industry is highly regarded.
• Experience with model-based software development such as MATLAB/Simulink is highly regarded.
• Broad experience in networking and communication technologies and protocols (CAN, TCP, UDP, DDS, SafeDDS) is highly regarded.
• Experience developing redundant distributed control systems is highly regarded.
• Perth based with full working Australian rights.

Qualifications

A tertiary qualification or equivalent is preferred.
