As a Database Administrator (DB2/Linux), you will play a crucial role in managing and administering DB2 databases on Linux servers. Ensure database performance, availability, and security
Troubleshoot database issues and resolve them promptly
Monitor database health and optimize configurations for efficiency
Implement and maintain database security measures
Collaborate with other teams for cross-functional projects and issue resolution
Document database configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to DB2 and Linux server administration
Proficiency in database administration, particularly with DB2 on Linux servers
Experience in database performance tuning and maintenance tasks
Strong troubleshooting skills for database-related issues
Knowledge of database security protocols and implementation
Familiarity with monitoring tools for database health and optimization
Excellent documentation skills for configurations and procedures

Collaborating with hardware designers and other embedded software developers, you will play a key role in designing and developing new test suites, with a specific focus on User Interfaces (UI).
This is a Perth based contracting role on an initial 12-month contract.

Proven experience in Front End User Interface Testing.
Automated Front End Test Tools such as Open HMI Tester (OHT) is beneficial.
Knowledge of user interface frameworks deployed on Unix-based systems in industrial applications, such as Qt, LVGL, Tcl/Tk or similar is beneficial.
Frontend End Debugging, Automated Testing and traceability.
Understanding of network communications and protocols.
Understanding of the full software development life cycle (documentation, requirements, testing, deployment and traceability).
Experience with software version control systems such as Git or SVN is essential.
Experience with Functional Safety Rail SIL1/SIL2-rated software testing is advantageous (EN50128 or equivalent).
Ability to apply creative thinking to solve problems.
A bachelor’s degree qualification in Electronic, Electrical or Software Engineering, or equivalent.

You will be a key member to the team and responsible for developing standards for data, designing database architecture, and managing big data of various databases.
This is a Perth based contracting role on an initial 12-month contract.
Design efficient database architecture and the best way to store large datasets.
Create standard workflow and documentations for setting up data software and platform.
Manage big data in various databases (i.e. AWS S3, Snowflake, SQL, InfluxDB) and ensure data are available to all consumers.
Responsible for test data management and data offloading pipeline for all Green Fleet projects.
Develop standards for data signal naming and set correct naming and grouping across the whole data pipeline from onboard data logger to offboard database.
Manage data logging software and specialised test data logger.
5+ years of experience in design and delivery of complex data warehousing and data management field.
~ Experience with writing and optimising SQL queries is essential.
~ Experience with AWS, Azure cloud platform and Snowflake cloud data platform is highly beneficial.

You will be a key member to the team and responsible for the overall control systems software architecture.
This is a Perth based contracting role on an initial 12-month contract.
Liaise with and manage internal and external multidisciplinary engineering and manufacturing teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
Apply a systems engineering approach, develop software requirements, functional flow block diagrams, use cases, and specifications.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Coordinate and collaborate with multiple software development teams to achieve the architecture.
Identify and resolve difficult technical issues.
Communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Proven experience in software for embedded control systems
Experience with product development or systems engineering in Rail industry is highly regarded.
Experience with model-based software development such as MATLAB/Simulink is highly regarded.
Broad experience in networking and communication technologies and protocols (CAN, TCP, UDP, DDS, SafeDDS) is highly regarded.
Experience developing redundant distributed control systems is highly regarded.
