Required for the 2024-2025 School Year
Primary/Junior/Intermediate/Senior qualifications (minimum of two).
AQ FSL Specialist is an asset.
Five years certified teaching experience an asset.
Must be a current permanent teacher with District School Board Ontario North East
Valid Ontario Driver’s License required, as travel is expected.
Co-plan and co-teach with classroom teachers using the TPACK (Technological, Pedagogical and Content Knowledge) framework and CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference) to implement high impact instructional strategies and leverage technology to enhance the learning and teaching.
Co-plan and co-facilitate professional learning at the school and board level in support of the School Improvement Plans for Student Achievement and Well-being (SIPSAW) and Student Achievement (SAP) goals.
Develop digital and print resources to support educators.
The Learning Coaches will be responsible for embedding technology using the TPACK framework, developing the 21 st century skills and supporting educators with the use of digital tools on iPad.
