Position Overview We are looking for a Yard Assistant to join our Richmond team. This role involves grading, sorting, and scaling non-ferrous metals, assisting with general yard clean-up, and supporting daily yard operations. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone who is reliable, hard-working, and eager to learn about the metal recycling industry. Key Responsibilities Grade, sort, and upgrade non-ferrous metals. Scale and record non-ferrous materials accurately. Assist with general yard clean-up and organization. Support yard operations and team members as needed. Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe work environment. Requirements No experience required; training will be provided. Hard-working, reliable, and coachable. Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Comfortable working in an outdoor, physical environment. Ready to start immediately. Compensation & Benefits Hourly Rate: $18.75 per hour Full-time, stable position. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Overtime opportunities available. On-site role based in Richmond.
