Our team is dedicated to building strong partnerships and continuously improving the way we serve our clients and communities.Position OverviewWe are looking for a Yard Assistant to join our Richmond team. This role involves grading, sorting, and scaling non-ferrous metals, assisting with general yard clean-up, and supporting daily yard operations. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone who is reliable, hard-working, and eager to learn about the metal recycling industry.Key ResponsibilitiesGrade, sort, and upgrade non-ferrous metals.Scale and record non-ferrous materials accurately.Assist with general yard clean-up and organization.Support yard operations and team members as needed.Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe work environment.RequirementsNo experience required; training will be provided.Hard-working, reliable, and coachable.Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.Comfortable working in an outdoor, physical environment.Ready to start immediately.Compensation & BenefitsHourly Rate: $18.75 per hourFull-time, stable position.Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMOvertime opportunities available.On-site role based in Richmond.Opportunities to learn about the industry and grow within the company.Supportive, team-oriented work environment.Why Join Mitchell Metal Recycling?At Mitchell Metal Recycling, you’ll be part of a growing, innovative company that values hard work, teamwork, and integrity.
