Energy Benchmarking Data Analyst

Summer role from May 15th until August 30th
Calgary-based students preferred
Responsibilities:
- Assist with Boardwalk’s annual energy, greenhouse gas, and water use benchmarking program
- Coordinate data requests from utility providers
- Collect building performance data and enter into Energy Star Portfolio Manager, including checking buildings for errors, and assessing data quality
- Conduct analysis of benchmarking data to update annual tracking metrics for building characteristics, energy performance, greenhouse gas emissions and water use
Experience and Educational Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited educational program preferably in sustainable energy, built environment, public policy, statistics or related area of study
Technical Requirements:
- Data management and analysis skills
- Solid experience with Microsoft Excel
Non-Technical Requirements:
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
