Morrison Park Advisors (MPA) is looking to hire a full-time Senior Associate to join the growing team in Toronto with an immediate start date.
MPA is a leading independent investment banking advisory firm based in Toronto and Calgary.

MPA advises clients on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital raising and formation, valuation and fairness opinions, and other capital markets-related activities across Canada and internationally.

A career as an investment banking Senior Associate means you will play a crucial role on a highly dynamic team. As a Senior Associate, you will be assigned to a variety of transactions and advisory projects including M&A, divestitures, equity and debt financings and strategic advisory projects. The role of the Senior Associate is challenging and fast paced. You will work with outside deal team members including legal, accounting, audit, consulting and others. You will conduct a variety of industry and company research and analyses, and assist in the preparation of written documents including business development proposals and company information documents for marketing purposes.

You will build, maintain and update complex financial models and valuation analyses, and marketing, pitch and communications materials for MPA.

You will take advantage of in-depth technical and industry knowledge to generate ideas and opportunities that you will discuss with your Managing Directors and Relationship Managers.

You will assist in managing and training a team of junior banking professionals.

Undergraduate or graduate university degree in economics, finance, business, accounting or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of investment banking (or equivalent) experience: investment banking, private equity, venture capital, hedge fund, or accounting (corporate finance transaction department).

Significant transaction execution and project management experience.

Knowledge of capital markets and investment banking platform applications (e.g. Ability to work effectively with a team and take ownership of a project.
