Croplands - Driving efficiency with the latest innovations in spraying technology
Croplands has been designing and distributing agricultural spraying equipment for 50 years. We’re looking to engage a Product Lead – Weed Detection Systems who is responsible for assisting in sustainable growth of the Croplands brand presence in Canada, with and beyond the WEED-IT product. This will involve in expansion of the dealer network, collaborations with industry partners and renowned research institutes, while monitoring customer satisfaction and dealer relationships.What will you be doing?
- Strive to improve processes and procedures to increase efficiencies.
- Perform duties responsibly with accountability and follow-up.
- Relay feedback from the field to internal key stakeholders.
- Ability to travel – both local and interprovince.
- Understanding working principle and main componentry of key Croplands products.
- Understanding of warranty expenditure and procedures in relation to budget guidelines
- Ability to perform basic diagnostics of key Croplands products.
- Assistance at major field days and demos
- Identify key players in markets that Croplands would like to penetrate and grow its presence in. Key players may involve potential dealers, pioneer customers, research stations and industry experts, agronomists and legislators.
- Actively utilize connections with key players to sustainably grow Croplands’ dealer network and sales.
- Liaison with sales leads
What do you bring?
You’re enthusiastic and flexible when it comes to responding to customers needs. You bring experience in the agriculture machinery industry. The ideal candidate will have a high level of understanding of Spray Application methodology in the Canadian cereal market and other related crops. You’ll need effective interpersonal skills along with the ability to work autonomously and in a team environment. You have a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel. Most importantly, you can develop a relationship with the key dealers at both sales and service levels alongside the Croplands Product Manager Canada – ultimately to ensure we provide a superior customer experience.
