ResponsibilitiesThe Sales manager will be responsible to expand the customer base, sell new business and manage the existing business within the group of warehouses. · Execute the entire sales cycle, from strategic planning to identifying opportunities, cold calling to closing contracts, ensuring profitable revenue growth for Trenton Cold Storage.· Develop targeted action plan to generate new sales leads and prospects within the market· Develop local and global customer relationships demonstrating a strong customer focus· Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for specific markets and customized service offerings, driving revenue generation and expanding the company's customer base.· Create and deliver proposal presentations and request for proposal responses to identify and resolve prospective customers’ business challenges.· Conduct regular analysis on customer requirements and pricing effectiveness and create actionable item lists based on findings· Maintain professional and technical knowledge, staying updated on market trends, economic indicators, and competitor activities, while also fostering relationships with top customers and troubleshooting issues as needed.· Partner with various internal departments to identify opportunities to improve our services. · Travel to all TCS sites across Canada and trade shows and customer sites as requiredRequirements· 5+ years of successful sales experience with demonstrated track record· Previous experience in all aspects of supplier relationship management including prospecting, selling and closing new business· Ability to gain deep knowledge of the entire suite of company service offerings and utilize it to maximize sales opportunities during customer solutioning· Ability to lead discussions, make presentations and deliver technical results to a non-technical audience· Bachelors in Business Administration, Supply Chain or a relevant field.· Proficiency in using Sales CRM.· Language proficiency in English.
