Responsibilities
The Sales manager will be responsible to expand the customer base, sell new business and manage the existing business within the group of warehouses.
· Execute the entire sales cycle, from strategic planning to identifying opportunities, cold calling to closing contracts, ensuring profitable revenue growth for Trenton Cold Storage.
· Develop targeted action plan to generate new sales leads and prospects within the market
· Develop local and global customer relationships demonstrating a strong customer focus
· Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for specific markets and customized service offerings, driving revenue generation and expanding the company's customer base.
· Create and deliver proposal presentations and request for proposal responses to identify and resolve prospective customers’ business challenges.
· Conduct regular analysis on customer requirements and pricing effectiveness and create actionable item lists based on findings
· Maintain professional and technical knowledge, staying updated on market trends, economic indicators, and competitor activities, while also fostering relationships with top customers and troubleshooting issues as needed.
· Partner with various internal departments to identify opportunities to improve our services.
· Travel to all TCS sites across Canada and trade shows and customer sites as required
Requirements
· 5+ years of successful sales experience with demonstrated track record
· Previous experience in all aspects of supplier relationship management including prospecting, selling and closing new business
· Ability to gain deep knowledge of the entire suite of company service offerings and utilize it to maximize sales opportunities during customer solutioning
· Ability to lead discussions, make presentations and deliver technical results to a non-technical audience
· Bachelors in Business Administration, Supply Chain or a relevant field.
· Proficiency in using Sales CRM.
· Language proficiency in English. French an asset.
· A valid driving license.
· Willingness to travel as per business needs
