They provide a comprehensive array of legal services, including Corporate/Commercial, Real Estate and Land Development, Intellectual Property, Franchising, Wills & Estates, Civil and Commercial Litigation, Labour and Employment Law, Family Law, and Mediation.Your New Role:As a Corporate Law Clerk, you will perform a variety of substantive, complex, and routine legal and administrative duties. You will coordinate and assist lawyers with assigned matters, conduct corporate reviews, prepare corporate structure charts, and handle documentation related to mergers, acquisitions, financings, and tax reorganizations. Additionally, you will prepare and file articles and corporate documentation, assist with tax-driven transactions, and provide support for large closing documents and transactions.The position is based at the head office in Burlington, with standard working hours from 9 a.m. What You’ll Need to Succeed:Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience as a law clerk in corporate law. Education: A diploma in Law Clerk studies or a related discipline.Skills: You should have in-depth knowledge of corporate statutes, be detail-oriented, hard-working, and self-motivated.Vacation: 3 weeksWork Culture: The firm values diversity and inclusion, creating an equitable environment where all individuals are respected and welcomed.
