Position Overview Our client is an Engineering Consultant firm looking for a Project Engineer to join their team in Burnaby, British Columbia. This is a great opportunity to gain value through working on a variety of multidisciplinary projects.Further Responsibilities Include:Reviewing and developing project objectives Developing and defining system performance and facility requirements Overseeing project workflow and executionManaging client’s expectations Developing engineering scopes of work documents Co-ordinating and planning project tasks, resources, and activitiesSubstantiating designs and concepts Controlling and delegating scopes to engineers, designers, and sub-consultantsPreparing all project documentsProactively coordinating with all stakeholders to identify and address problems and bottlenecksControls quality and checks of deliverables and submittals including self-checksSite visits to facilities and project sites, required - Completes field designs and assistance during constructionContinuously steering the project plan based on on-going requirements and findings, while making corrections as neededIdeal Candidate Experience:7+ years of related experience in mechanical, process, or structural engineeringRegistered as an EIT or P.Eng with EGBCFamiliarity MS Project and Primavera is preferableStrong verbal and written communication skills Why This Firm?:Professional development and growth plan with continuing education allowance A respectful and inclusive workplace Extended health benefits and RRSP matching planFlexible work hours (hybrid work setup)Exposure to a variety of challenging projects 3 weeks of paid vacation Interested candidates are encouraged to send their CV in confidence to christopher.phillips@torustalent.com.
