Outside Sales Representative (Regina, SK)
This position is responsible to maximize sales from a selected group of clientele and to generate business from new and existing accounts. liaise with inside sales, credit department and warehouse to investigate and resolve issues; Co-ordinate customer purchases with inside sales department; Analyze customer base to identify further areas of opportunity and to develop new accounts
Prepare sales forecasts for the next selling year; to review sales results with Regional Manager on a monthly basis or as required/requested
Accountable for monitoring client/customer creditworthiness and reporting irregularities to credit department and Regional Manager
to undertake training as required/requested; Participate in special sales functions and trade shows as required/requested
Assist with territorial planning to efficiently maximize number of sales calls
to attend and participate in training/instructor programs as required/requested
Participate in our training program and complete training on products on a regular basis
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills (Bilingual may be required for some locations)
Available to travel on a daily basis, some overnight travel as required/requested
Possess valid driver license and maintain clean driving record
Computer literate, good mathematical skills
Plan and Blue print reading is an asset
College Diploma in Sales/Marketing, Business Administration or a related discipline
Four (4) years experience in a customer service/sales capacity preferably with background knowledge in fire protection , plumbing and heating and mechanical/industrial pipe and fittings
