We are seeking a Psychologist/MSW. to join our busy child psychology practice in the South Edmonton area. We provide counselling, play/sand-tray, and trauma therapy to children and adolescents, and parent support as needed. This position is currently part-time, with the opportunity to grow an expanding caseload over time.

Seeking a therapist with:

  • A Master or PhD degree in counselling/clinical psychology or Social Work, registered in Alberta (Provisionals will be considered if they have completed their CAP practicum hours)
  • The ability to work independently (with monthly consultation support)
  • Has experience in treating a range of child and adolescent clinical concerns
  • Can demonstrate effectiveness in multiple therapeutic modalities with children and teens
  • Well-versed in working with caregivers to provide strategies and recommendations to support a range of referring concerns
  • Self-motivated, confident, and an eagerness for learning/professional development
  • Has a good working understanding of ethics and regulations that govern our practice in Alberta
  • At least 3 years of clinical experience as well as excellent references
