Edmonton, Canada Indigenous Psychological Services of Alberta Full time

We are looking for Registered Child Psychologists or Registered Clinical Social Workers who can register with NIHB and are willing to learn and experience the Indigenous culture. We work within a safe community of practice and support each other through our values of kinship and kindness. We follow a circle approach to running an organization. Our wheel approach to running a practice and supporting our clients creates an opportunity for providers to have a voice. We believe in healthy safe communities and supportive kinships with each other; while supporting the people we work with. Our agency is unique in that we focus on best practices for Indigenous peoples. This means we honour the Two-Eyed Seeing approach by enrolling in trauma that specializes in complex trauma while embodying our traditional ways of living, doing, and being. Not only do we honour holistic approaches, but we also incorporate them into our daily lives. We are looking for people who are passionate about working with, helping and experiencing culture.

Practitioners can work on their own schedules and have flexibility with in person or through telehealth. Our agency supports personal growth and wellness. We provide training sponsorship. Our agency has additional incentives and training. We offer a competitive rates 70/30 for those that are 20 hours a week OR 60/40 that includes training. We also offer free ongoing culture training.

Additional incentives include practitioners who have Treaty Status. Our main office is located on Edmonton and Enoch Alberta.
