More than 5,000 employees in 33 countries help us develop the latest technologies for Reality Capture, survey and measurement.We currently have an opportunity for Mobile Mapping Sales Representative for the Canadian region. This position is remote and can be located within 1 hour of a major airport. Activities will be focused on achieving Canada’s financial KPIs, growth targets and strategic objectives for Mobile Mapping through direct sales efforts, input to product marketing, product positioning and channel/market development. WHAT YOU GET TO DO:Increase market share through the development of scanning business with new and existing customers in the regionResponsible for meeting the Mobile Mapping sales and revenue targetDevelop a Sales Strategy to maximize revenueEnsure technology adoption in the Survey Ground SegmentWork with regional product team to provide input for yearly strategy and business plan. Contribute input for the future product development to ensure product adoption and sales growth.Identify Target Customers for key sales and further market penetrationResearch and analyze the Mobile Mapping market and competitionContribute to product promotion for Mobile Mapping - through press releases, success stories, presentation content, advertising, social media, and industry publicationsRepresent Leica Geosystems and Mobile Mapping solutions at trade shows, seminars, and surveying society eventsResponsible for all customer demonstrationsWork with regional distribution partners to develop relationships and generate additional opportunitiesPerforms other duties as assigned.OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:Critical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 5 years of industry experience with significant background in Mobile Mapping and land surveyingStrong knowledge and experience in developing and implementing sales models and plansProven sales professional, including Key Account Management and Direct Sales experience.Strong leadership skills including the ability to effectively partner with cross-functional teams, mobilizing people via excellent communication and clear objectives as well as demonstrating commitment to exceeding customer expectationsBilingual in English and in French is an assetStrong presentation skills especially to groups and forums of customersAn aptitude for developing plans and strategies to succeedA passion for achieving business goals and sales targetsAdvanced skills in developing and maintaining strong strategic relationshipsA passion for superior product delivery and customer service as well as an appreciation for the need for a positive end-user experienceAbility to work independently as well as part of a teamAbility to travel as required – there is a considerable amount of travel required to fulfill this roleLeica Geosystems is an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
