We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Programmer to join our team.
EM Dynamics Inc. provides complex assemblies and systems solutions to the fields of medical device, flying optic and theatre projection, defence & aerospace, and renewable energy sectors around the world. We have over 50 years of experience and collective knowledge in the manufacturing industry and continue to build on our fundamental belief; As a key member reporting to the Plant Manager, you will play a crucial role in operating a CAD/CAM-based computer to generate programs for CNC machines, providing X, Y, Z coordinates of holes, surfaces, and other critical details.

The successful candidate must have a strong background in programming CNC lathes, 3-axis CNC vertical mills, 4-axis CNC vertical and horizontal mills, and 5-axis CNC mills, with proficiency in Mastercam software.


Retrieve CAD data and translate files into the appropriate format for offline programming software, making necessary design and detail changes based on shop requirements.
Prepare CNC programs in relevant languages for machine controllers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the machining process.
Assist machine operators by addressing questions related to CNC programs and inspection materials.
Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues, ensuring production scheduling deadlines are met.


Knowledge of different types of materials and experience in the setup and operation of both CNC mills and lathes.
~ CAD/CAM experience, emphasizing proficiency in large CNC machine cutting equipment and strong technical knowledge of machining processes.
~ Experience in a quality system role is an asset, with the ability to disseminate information on results and processes to other staff.
~ Knowledge of CAD/CAM software, specifically Mastercam and Solid Works.
~ Strong mechanical problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


Note: Schedule involves 8-hour day shifts, Monday to Friday. However, flexibility in working hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.
