The Sales Coordinator reports directly to the Director, Business Development & Sales and contributes to the STARS Vigilant corporate objectives by supporting the sales team with administrative and customer service-related tasks. The successful candidate will exhibit proficiency in time management and multi-tasking and will possess a passion for contributing to the sales process, which aids in funding our not-for-profit mission.
Assist the sales team with day-to -day administrative tasks including coordinating meetings and preparing sales documents and presentations;
Communicate with potential clients via phone and email to address inquiries and arrange meetings with our account executive;
Ensure sales inquiries and leads received through general email are appropriately vetted and promptly delivered to the sales team;
Assist in coordination of onboarding and off boarding of strategic accounts;
Maintain accurate records of all sales activities using CRM software;
Assist the customer success specialist with renewal of client contracts;
Compile sales data to generate reports on sales performance, trends, and customer preferences;
Assist with client relationship management duties including tracking contract expiry date and maintaining updated B2B contact lists;
Assist in the planning and execution of sales events, trade shows and other promotional activities;
2 – 3 years of professional experience related to sales coordinator, customer service or administrative support roles;
~2 years of post-secondary education in Business Administration or related field;
~ Intermediate level knowledge of CRM (preference given to those who have experience with Salesforce);
~ High proficiency in MS office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
~ An understanding of the principles, methods, and strategies used for promoting and selling services would be considered an asset.
