The Operations Coordinator Role:
The Operations Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of our office and plays an integral role in keeping our business running smoothly. This person will possess exceptional and professional interpersonal skills, should be able to execute administrative and operational tasks with a high degree of competence, and have a positive ‘can-do’ attitude.
- Support Senior Leadership with company projects and processes
- Support Project Managers with construction project coordination such as procurement, meeting notes and scheduling
- Act as the company resource and subject matter expert on Project Management and Safety Technologies
- Contribute to team onboarding and engagement activities
- Coordinate operations and facilities tasks such as fielding phone calls, ordering supplies, and coordinating office maintenance and service contracts
- Update and organize client-facing project documentation
- Provide support for for key safety programs, including: overseeing site safety reports and investigation; JHSC Committee; logging near-misses; and maintenance and distribution of site safety kits, signage, and supplies
- Oversee all shipping and receiving
- Oversee fleet management including coordination of maintenance
- Coordinate company device management and act as liaison with our IT partner
- 3+ years experience in a similar Operations role
- Experience in the construction industry an asset, but not a requirement, as long as you bring a keen willingness to learn
- A positive attitude with a team-oriented approach to work
- Superior attention to detail and organizational skills
- A self starter: ability to work independently, multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to think ahead and anticipate problems before they arise
- Experience working with various tech programs like, Microsoft Office, G-Suite, iOS, Zoom, Procore.etc. with the ability to troubleshoot as needed.
