Bilingual Grants Officer

LeverageTek is actively seeking a Bilingual Grants Officer for a 4-month contract with its Ottawa-based customer. Work LocationRemote Language RequirementsBilingual in French and English essential. Key TasksSupport the management of a portfolio of grant partnerships including establishing partner relationships and interacting regularlyAssess project applications and provide analysis and recommendations on projectsDevelop grant agreement content, including amendments as requiredMonitor assigned grant projects through regular communication with community organizations and reviewing reportsSupport requests for payments to community organizationsEnsure community organizations are supported throughout project implementation, including problem solving, change requests, and meeting reporting requirementsActively participate in coordination meetings that support the implementation of the program and ensures alignment with program intentions, granting good practices and the organization’s methodologyContribute to the documentation of program practices, internal tools, and resourcesGather program and/or project feedback and analyze information that will contribute to further developing grant methodology and tools Key QualificationsMinimum of 2-3 years experience in a Grants Officer (or similar capacity) supporting Non-Profit or Government programsDemonstrated experience in non-profit grants administration or grants managementDemonstrated experience working in Government or Non-Profit programs with strict regulations and guidelines QualificationsDemonstrated understanding of the not-for-profit sectorExperience in grants administration working in a funding organizationExcellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and virtual meeting software; knowledge of grant management softwareExperience in grants administration as funding organization About LeverageTek IT SolutionsThank you for taking the time to apply Since our company’s inception in March 2003, LeverageTek IT Solutions has worked resolutely to become one of the industry’s most recognized and trusted suppliers of technology staffing and business consulting services.
