Our client, a well-established civil construction firm with a strong reputation for delivering complex infrastructure and deep excavation projects, is seeking a Project Coordinator to join their team in Surrey, BC. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their construction career who is eager to learn and grow within a supportive, high-performing team. Key Responsibilities: Assist the project team with day-to-day coordination of civil construction projects. Help prepare project documentation including RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and daily reports. Track materials, equipment, and subcontractor progress. Support scheduling updates, quantity tracking, and cost control tasks. Participate in site visits, safety meetings, and progress reviews. Assist in maintaining organized project files and documentation in the company's project management platform. Communicate with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to support smooth project execution. Ideal Candidate Requirements: 1 to 2 years of experience in the construction industry; relevant co-op terms will be considered if full-time experience is limited. Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or a related field. Strong interest in civil construction, infrastructure, and field operations. Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and basic project processes. Proficiency in MS Office; experience with project management software is an asset. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. A proactive attitude and willingness to learn. Why This Firm: Competitive salary and benefits package. 5% DPSP. 2 weeks vacation.
