Job description Project Manager

Our client is looking for a Project Manager to lead and oversee the successful planning, execution, and delivery of their projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational and leadership skills, with a proven track record of managing project timelines, budgets, and resources. As a Project Manager with their team, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful completion of projects, fostering collaboration among cross-functional teams, and maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes that meet or exceed client expectations.

Project Planning and Execution:
Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining scope, timelines, budget, resources, and deliverables.
Lead project teams in the execution of plans, ensuring milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
Monitor and report project progress to stakeholders, identifying and addressing potential risks and issues.
Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative and high performance work environment.
Serve as the main point of contact for clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring project objectives align with client expectations.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, addressing concerns and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Risk Management:
Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Implement risk management plans to address potential obstacles and ensure project success.
Budget and Resource Management:
Manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring financial goals are met.
Quality Assurance:
Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to guarantee the delivery of high quality project outcomes.
Conduct regular project reviews to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.

8+years of proven experience as a Project Manager with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
~5+ years of hands-on experience specializing in the Canadian public sector and financial industry, demonstrating a deep understanding of the intricacies and specific requirements within these sectors."
~ Professional certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) are often preferred.
~ o Experience in creating and managing project budgets.
~ Proficient in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
~ Knowledge of quality assurance processes and the ability to ensure project deliverables meet established standards.
~ Ability to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
~ A bachelor's or master's degree in project management, business administration, or a related field


Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate project teams.
Proven ability to analyse problems and make sound decisions.
Strong organizational and planning skills, with attention to detail.
Strategic thinker with the ability to navigate complex project challenges.
