The role will support the organization with all facets of manufacturing including life project management, specification development, equipment development, debug and installation and continuous improvement of our processes. The role will support the customer requirements in the design, build, launch and production support of high-quality magnesium die-castings.

Writing detailed specifications for the purchase of new or replacement capital and tooling.
Overseeing the acquisition and installation of new equipment.
Sourcing and ordering capital equipment and tools for continuous improvement of existing systems, as well as stock items for current and new manufacturing components.
Project management: Implement modern technologies at manufacturing cells. Attending meetings, planning, receiving approvals, completing layouts, vendor visits for machining and assembly cells. Assist plant team members to achieve effective and efficient production processes, including the occasional supervision of co-op & production personnel. Coordinating work to ensure on-time completion of projects.
Troubleshooting, solving, and correcting failed or inconsistent manufacturing equipment and systems. Bachelors’ Degree or Technical Diploma in Engineering Discipline
Minimum 7 years of automotive engineering experience
Minimum 5 years of project management experience
Project management designation (PMP)
Excellent Mechanical, Hydraulic and Electrical knowledge with troubleshooting experience.
Working knowledge of control systems (Allen Bradley/Siemens)
Strong understanding of blueprint reading, physics, costing, and value analysis
Working knowledge of CAD/CAM systems, personal computers, and software.
