Is responsible for the design, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes. These processes will address capacity, quality, safety, ergonomic, and environmental requirements of the business.
Provide project support and/or leadership on the introduction of new products.
Determine labor standards and maintain production capacity model.
Contributes greatly to the plant wide cost reduction teams.
Technical reports.
Commitment to quality.
Degree in Mechanical Engineering (P. Industry Experience: Minimum 7-10 years of progressive experience in Mechanical Engineering;
Experience with or Knowledge of furniture / woodworking and/or finishing is considered an asset
Technical Experience: Working knowledge of manufacturing operations, environmental compliance, industrial hazard and communication. Well versed in OSHA regulations and ISO 14000 auditing and implementation.
Ability to work off shifts, flexible hours, including weekends
Must be flexible to travel as needed
