We are a 3rd Party Logistics company seeking a full-time individual to join our programming team. This person must be a strong team player, with excellent communication skills, and have the discipline to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Compensation will depend on experience and qualifications. Responsibilities include:

  • Troubleshoot existing in-house desktop and web applications to resolve issues, provide efficient internal processing, and ensure accuracy of client data and reporting.
  • Perform system modifications on our custom-designed freight processing application and implement them to maximize efficiency and customer service.

· Develop and maintain web services as required and ensure all web development and troubleshooting support.

· Work with Nulogx team to develop reports, for both internal and client use.

· Assist in maintenance and support of all company SQL databases.

· Problem identification, investigation, analysis, and decisive action to bring resolution.

· Ensure all programs are managed properly through Source Control

· Assist in the preparation and maintenance of technical documentation.

· Participate in the implementation of new projects.

· Design new programs, as required, to complement existing services.

· Coordinating with technical support services of 3rd party service providers to resolve issues as required.

· Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required

· Strong knowledge of .Net, C#, Visual Basic.Net

· Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL 2008 and higher

· Solid experience with VB Script, ASP.Net, Visual Studio

· Solid experience with IIS, SSL

· Full stack development experience

· Strong troubleshooting, interpersonal, and communications skills

· Post-secondary diploma/degree preferred in Computer Science & Technology

· Must be a team player with a positive attitude.

Beneficial

· Experience in Crystal Reports

· Experience with supporting legacy applications.

· Experience developing dashboards (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)

· Knowledge of basic EDI standards and data mapping are definite assets.

· General knowledge of communication standards (FTP, SFTP, AS2, etc.)

· Experience with the Transportation/Logistics industry.
