As we strive to innovate and succeed, we invite a talented Full-Stack Software Developer to join our dynamic team and contribute to shaping the future of trading technology.________________________________________________________________________________________Job DescriptionReporting to the Software Development Lead, the Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom-built solutions that enhance business functionality and efficiency. The successful candidate will have a strong background in software development and will collaborate with multiple teams to refine business requirements for new functionality, as well as debug and resolve customer-reported issues in a timely fashion.________________________________________________________________________________________Major Job Functions1. Code Development & Testing:- Develop and optimize code for various software applications, including backend services and data pipelines.- Conduct comprehensive unit testing to ensure functionality and stability.2. Application Specification & Design:- Collaborate with team members to define application requirements.- Draft detailed design specifications to guide development efforts.3. Solution Support:- Offer assistance for solutions developed in-house and for third-party interfaces.- Troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolutions. 4. Project Progress & Risk Management:- Track development against initial estimates.- Proactively identify potential challenges or risks and communicate them to the team.5. Quality Assurance & Delivery:- Guarantee the prompt delivery of accurate and professional information to stakeholders.- Certify that all tasks align with business needs and the overarching solutions architecture.6. Change Management Adherence:- Uphold and adhere to established change management practices and protocols.7. Code Management:- Efficiently handle and synchronize code across local workstations and various development environments.8. Professional Representation & Relationships:- Serve as a representative of the company, upholding its values and standards.- Foster positive, effective relationships both internally and externally, ensuring the utmost confidentiality when required.________________________________________________________________________________________Specific Skills• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.• 2-4 years of experience with .NET technologies including .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and Entity Framework.• Experience with Vue, React or Angular• Proficient in C# with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming.• Experience with SQL, NoSQL and database technologies like MySQL and MongoDB.• Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience in integrating third-party libraries and APIs.• Knowledge of modern web application design patterns, cloud architecture, and DevOps practices.• Familiarity with SOLID/DRY principles and design patterns • Strong time management, organizational and interpersonal skills• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with different audiences________________________________________________________________________________________Desirable Skills• Experience with Golang• Experience with Python or R• Azure or AWS• Single Page Applications________________________________________________________________________________________To ApplyPlease submit your resume, cover letter, and any relevant portfolio or GitHub profile showcasing your work.
