What You’ll Do

Are you a visionary engineering leader with a passion for sustainability and a knack for building high-performing teams? If so, we have a challenging and rewarding opportunity for you. Relocalize is seeking an Engineering Lead er to lead, mentor, and motivate our dynamic engineering team in the development of our cutting-edge RELO micro-factories. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of sustainable manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

  1. Building and Leading the Team: Create, manage, mentor, and motivate the Relocalize engineering team. You will lead them in designing, testing, and perfecting our RELO micro-factories, ensuring that objectives and tasks are well defined, assigned, understood, and achieved.
  2. Project Management: Collaborate closely with our CTO to drive key milestones in delivering the version 2.0 system. Ensure that the team is organized, allocated to various team members, and on track to meet project deadlines.
  3. People Management: Conduct performance reviews and identify areas for growth and improvement within the team. Inspire your colleagues and develop leadership skills within the team to create a cohesive and effective unit.
  4. Effective Communication: Be an excellent communicator, bridging the technical aspects of the project with the leadership side. Facilitate decision-making and provide regular updates to senior management.

Ce que vous ferez
Vous êtes un leader visionnaire en ingénierie, passionné par le développement durable et doué pour constituer des équipes performantes ? Si c'est le cas, nous avons une opportunité stimulante et gratifiante pour vous. Relocalize est à la recherche d'un leader en ingénierie pour diriger, encadrer et motiver notre équipe d'ingénieurs dynamique dans le développement de nos micro-usines RELO de pointe. Dans ce rôle, vous jouerez un rôle essentiel dans l'élaboration de l'avenir de la fabrication durable.

Responsabilités :
  1. Constituer et diriger l'équipe : Créer, gérer, encadrer et motiver l'équipe d'ingénieurs de Relocalize. Vous les dirigerez dans la conception, le test et le perfectionnement de nos micro-usines RELO, en veillant à ce que les objectifs et les tâches soient bien définis, assignés, compris et réalisés.
  2. Gestion de projet : Collaborer étroitement avec notre CTO pour mener à bien les étapes clés de la livraison de la version 2.0 du système. Veiller à l'organisation de l'équipe, à l'attribution des tâches aux différents membres de l'équipe et au respect des échéances du projet.
  3. Gestion du personnel : Mener des évaluations de performance et identifier les domaines de croissance et d'amélioration au sein de l'équipe. Inspirez vos collègues et développez des compétences de leadership au sein de l'équipe afin de créer une unité cohésive et efficace.
  4. Communication efficace : Être un excellent communicateur, faisant le lien entre les aspects techniques du projet et l'aspect leadership. Faciliter la prise de décision et fournir des mises à jour régulières à la direction.

About You

  • A background in engineering with experience in design, robotics system integration, or mechatronics, particularly on large-scale integrated projects.
  • 2-3 years of direct management experience with engineers reporting directly to you. We're open to less experience if you demonstrate strong leadership potential.
  • A base of leadership skills, including effective decision-making and the ability to motivate a team.
  • Strong project management skills to keep the team on track and meet milestones.

Success in this role looks like:

  1. Recruiting: Define recruitment needs, attract, and recruit a multi-disciplinary team that Relocalize requires to achieve its targets in the next 6-12 months.
  2. Retention: Relate to and motivate the team while keeping them on-mission and accountable.

A propos de vous

  • Formation d'ingénieur avec expérience en conception, intégration de systèmes robotiques ou mécatronique, en particulier dans le cadre de projets intégrés à grande échelle.
  • 2 à 3 ans d'expérience en management direct avec des ingénieurs qui vous sont directement rattachés. Nous sommes ouverts à une expérience moindre si vous démontrez un fort potentiel de leadership.
  • Une base de compétences en matière de leadership, y compris une prise de décision efficace et la capacité de motiver une équipe.
