As a Fleet Manager, you will be accountable for the overall productivity and performance of their assigned drivers and tractors. This will be accomplished through ongoing review of key performance indicators, followed by active participation in strategies to positively affect results. Lead and retain a designated fleet of drivers as well as an assigned fleet of 60-75 tractors
Ensure that assigned fleet of tractors is utilized in the best interests of the company. In its basic form, this responsibility means maximizing the number of days per month that tractors are productive
Ongoing management of driver performance outside of mileage and days of work, with a focus on company policy and procedures
Ensure payroll accuracy for assigned drivers
Experience in the Transportation is a key asset
Ability to realize sense of timeliness in prioritizing personal and fleet activities
Strong organizational skills with a clear sense of urgency about planning and executing work
Thrive in a supportive team that provides coaching and training to help develop your skills and progress your career
