Type: 6-Month contract, 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week

DESCRIPTION:

  • Your main responsibilities are to build/maintain enterprise analytical platforms such as PowerBI, Databricks, Copilot Studio , and Azure AI Services (including OpenAI ) while supporting their adoption, continuous improvement, and refinement as we push their limits to derive optimal business value.
  • Help to build/maintain a holistic analytical platform that enables common services, standards, and patterns and ensures optimal performance and usage.
  • Provide front-line technical support to analytical platforms through various channels.
  • Coordinate change management processes for the platforms.
  • Address planned and unplanned production issues and support the coordination, maintenance, and communication.
  • Identify and analyze problems and trends within the platforms, providing monitoring and reporting.
  • Identify and execute on improvement opportunities within the platforms.
  • Be able to research independently for potential solutions to problems encountered.
  • Design and develop automation as needed.
  • Play a role in various related tasks, including user story creation, end-to-end process outlining, system configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Requirements gathering and rationalization: work cooperatively with internal stakeholders to understand and clarify platform and service needs.
  • Fostering the development of our business users and colleagues, maintaining a COE with up-to-date best practices and methodologies for our various platforms.
  • Help to develop training materials tailored to various levels of expertise.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
  • Certifications – an asset
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP ) and related services
  • Working knowledge of working with API s, Power Platform (PVA/Copilot Studio ), Azure Databricks, Snowflake, Cyberark
  • Proficiency with: PowerBI, JIRA, Confluence, Visio
  • Utilizing and implementing a Centre of Excellence (CoE)
  • Familiarity with scripting and programming ( Python, C# PowerShell, shell script etc.,)
  • You have strong customer service skills and a drive to provide effective and timely support and resolution of issues with professionalism.
  • Strong desire to work in a team-based and collaborative environment.
  • Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex subject matter.
  • Experience in writing documentation and procedure manuals for various audiences.
  • You’re accountable for your work, and take the time to invest in research, learning, and practice to grow your knowledge and make yourself an expert of our offerings.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to articulate thoughts / ideas to effectively collaborate with a variety of teams from both investments and technology.
  • Experience in industry or an academic setting of:
  • Providing 1st/2nd/3rd line technical support in a complex technology environment.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Experience / Knowledge with surrounding technologies such as SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and wider M365 applications.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including written and
  • presentational, with the ability to work and engage with a diverse range of customers and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience documenting business processes, gathering service requirements from diverse groups of stakeholders, to inform current and future service provision.
  • Problem-solving skills working in a team-based environment.
