The Role

We are looking for a Business Intelligence Developer to join the data team at Hifyre. You will play a pivotal role in transforming data into actionable insights through the design, development, and maintenance of robust business intelligence solutions. Leveraging your expertise in data modeling, data integration, and data visualization, you will collaborate with stakeholders and business analysts to deliver impactful reports, dashboards, and analytics tools that drive informed decision-making across the organization.

What You’ll Do

Create interactive and user-friendly data visualizations, reports, and dashboards that provide meaningful insights into business trends and key performance indicators.

Design and develop business intelligence solutions using SQL, Looker and future BI platforms to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements, develop data models, and ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security.

Implement data governance best practices, ensuring data quality, standardization, and compliance with data policies and regulations.

Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency through data profiling and validation

Identify and troubleshoot data quality issues and implement corrective actions.

Collaborate with data engineering and database administration functions to ensure seamless integration between BI solutions and data infrastructure.

Assist data analysis and data science functions in fulfilling business requirements and defining objectives.

Optimize and fine-tune BI solutions for improved performance and scalability, considering large volumes of data and complex data structures.

Lead the evaluation and adoption of new BI technologies and tools that enhance our BI capabilities and efficiency

Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Developer, Data Analyst, or in a related role, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in designing and implementing BI solutions.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data modeling
  • Ability to design, develop, and maintain complex business intelligence solutions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with business users and stakeholders
  • Strong proficiency in BI tools such as Looker, Power BI, Tableau, or similar, with hands-on experience in data visualization and dashboard development.
  • Proficiency in SQL and database query optimization to extract and manipulate data effectively
  • Familiarity with data governance and data security best practices.
  • Strong data analysis skills to work with data warehouse design and data modeling
