Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement import and export strategies to optimize operations and support business objectives.
  • Manage import/export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and customs clearance documents, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and address any issues or delays that may arise.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings within the import/export function.
  • Keep informed about changes in import/export regulations and trade policies to ensure compliance and minimize risk.
  • Coordinate Regulatory Affairs for new product setup regarding customs regulations and tariffs.
  • Analyze transportation data and performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain relationships with carriers, customs authorities, and other external partners to ensure smooth operations.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the logistics team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Previous Management experience is required.
  • 8 years of proven experience in managing a team of employees in import/export logistics
  • Strong understanding of international trade regulations and customs procedures.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
