We have an excellent 1 years contract opportunity with possible extension for a Senior Solution Architect (SAP HCM) in Ottawa/Toronto.
Remote for now but may request contractors come on site on ad hoc basis.
Eligible for Reliability level Federal Security clearance is mandatory.
~5+ years’ hands-on experience in SAP HCM modules, design, and development and/or configuration.
~5+ years’ experience as a Solution, Infrastructure, Business or Data Architect, or technical leader in large projects.
~2+ years’ experience designing, developing and/or configurating data integrations between SAP HCM and HCM cloud (SaaS) applications.
~8 years’ experience in progressively advancing roles within IT.

Contract length : Will be remote for now but may request contractors come on site on ad hoc basis. Would be responsible for going to office in Ottawa – Riverside Drive location.
Solution Architect (HR) – Senior
We are looking for a passionate Solution Architect to join the ERP Program where they will have an opportunity to grow their architecture skills while contributing to the major transformational projects for Canada Post
Reporting to the HR Solution Lead (SL) on the ERP Evolution Program, the Architect (“SA”) translates business requirements into solution architecture that complies with enterprise architectural standards and roadmaps. The Solution Architect analyzes current application and infrastructure technology to determine its ability to support the solution and creates relevant conceptual solution and solution map to be referenced by Business Analysist, developers and configuration specialists during the functional design and build process. The Solution Architect is a senior role in the architecture family. The solution architect is expected to be an expert in one or more architecture areas (application, infrastructure, data, security, etc.). This individual collaborates with the Solution Lead, the Project Manager/Delivery team, and the Architecture COE to facilitate integration across solutions and technologies within a specific domain.
Provide leadership in architecture and technical design for subdomains of ERP functional area, focusing on the Human Capital Management (HCM) product area, and ensure design is consistent and well integrated with existing conceptual, logical, and physical architectures, in collaboration with the Business Architect.
Collaborate with SL and Architecture COE on the solution design to ensure it complies with enterprise architectural standards and roadmaps
In collaboration with the Enterprise Architect and the Architecture COE, research and evaluate software technology, products and solutions, and make recommendations on technology/production introduction, phase-out and retirement in the HCM area.
Work across the ERP domain (including OTC, Finance, Procurement, HCM, and CRM) to understand and leverage common solution components where appropriate
ASAP. 1 year contract. 5+ years’ hands-on experience in SAP HCM modules, design, and development and/or configuration and documentation.
~5+ years’ experience as a Solution, Infrastructure, Business or Data Architect, or technical leader in large projects.
~2+ years’ experience designing, developing and/or configurating data integrations between SAP HCM and HCM cloud (SaaS) applications.
~8 years’ experience in progressively advancing roles within IT
~ Knowledgeable in release / deployment management

Experience with SAP programing, ABAP, CDS view, Fiori, Java and Java script.
SAP BTP experience
Experience using Jira for Agile software development
Will be remote for now but may request contractors come on site on ad hoc basis. Would be responsible for going to office in Ottawa – Riverside Drive location.
