As the Dietician, you ensure optimal nutritional care for all residents by conducting assessments, providing ongoing follow-up, and offering professional guidance to the Food Services Department.*Requirements** Degree in Dietetics or Nutrition and a graduate of an approved Dietetic Internship.* Registered Dietician with a practicing membership in the College of Dieticians of BC* “Restricted Activity A” required* Membership in the Dieticians of Canada is preferred.* A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a Residential Care environment*About The Role*_\*This position entails one day a week, with the potential for additional hours. You'll also be tasked with covering vacation shifts when needed. _As the Dietician, you play a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and evaluating residents’ nutritional requirements and service provision. You ensure compliance with regulations and standards, oversee menu planning, and provide consultation on nutrition-related matters. By leading quality improvement initiatives, you promote person-centred care and serve as a role model for the Wellness Model. Your responsibilities include maintaining confidentiality, participating in various meetings and training, and fostering positive relationships among residents, team members, and community partners.
